The 2.5-room apartment is located on the ground floor of the historic Amtshaus. The building itself is part of the Hemhofen castle complex and was likely used for administration centuries ago. A few years ago, the historic property was comprehensively renovated. Great attention to detail was invested in preserving the special character of the old building. Even the historic entrance door hints at the unique charm of this apartment. Upon entering, you immediately find yourself in the open-plan kitchen, from which the living room, bedroom, and then the bathroom are accessible.

In the bathroom, there are connections for a washing machine and dryer. The floor-to-ceiling tiled bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, toilet, and a comfortable shower-tub combination. The rooms can be used as a bedroom, living room, or office depending on your preferred layout. Located centrally in Hemhofen—just 1 minute to the bus stop, 5 minutes to the local shops for daily necessities, and close to both kindergarten and school—the municipality itself offers excellent infrastructure. There are numerous shopping options, many beyond everyday needs, as well as medical practices and a variety of public facilities. Transportation connections are also well established: Hemhofen is part of the Erlangen-Höchstadt district and is located directly on federal highway 470. The larger cities of Höchstadt an der Aisch and Forchheim are quickly accessible. Additionally, the excellent links to Erlangen—and thereby to Nuremberg—via country roads or the two nearby motorway connections (A3 "Erlangen West" and "Höchstadt-Ost") have made Hemhofen a very popular place to live. And if you ever prefer not to drive, public transportation is a viable option: thanks to the well-established bus line 205 running between Höchstadt and Erlangen, a bus stops at the nearby bus stop every 20 minutes.
